Creamy Passion Fruit Vegan Mousse (3 Ingredients)
Passion fruit (Maracujá) is nature’s tart candy. This Vegan Passion Fruit Mousse is airy, zesty, and incredibly simple to make. It replaces the traditional heavy cream and condensed milk with cashews or coconut cream, making it cholesterol-free.
In our VeganV Philosophy, we love using tropical fruits because they are packed with enzymes that aid digestion. Passion fruit is rich in Vitamin C and fiber, helping to boost your immune system while you enjoy dessert.
This is the perfect “showstopper” for a dinner party that takes less than 10 minutes of active work.
The Secret Ingredient: Raw Cashews
While you can use coconut cream, raw soaked cashews create a neutral, ultra-creamy base that lets the tartness of the passion fruit shine without the coconut flavor taking over.
- Healthy Fats: Cashews are heart-healthy and provide satiety.
- Texture: When blended at high speed, they emulsify perfectly with the fruit juice.

🤔 Mousse FAQ
It likely needs more time in the fridge or you didn’t drain the cashews well enough. Coconut oil helps it set, so don’t skip it.
Yes! Silken tofu is a great low-fat alternative to cashews. Just blend 1 block instead of the nuts.
